Public transport from the Schaffhausen Train station: Take the bus Nr. 3 direction Sommerwies, leave the bus at KSS Freizeitpark station.
Some parking spaces are available for drivers, walking distance to the Arena appx. 10 mins. For sustainability reasons, we suggest to use public transport.
There is only one entrance, situated at «Breitenaustrasse». There is no access through the pool- or the Ice-skating area. On the final weekend (April 6.-7.) the additional Sector D can be reached through an extra gate, also accessible from “Breitenaustrasse”. All the gates will be signposted.
Curling is a winter sport; therefore, we recommend warm clothing, also because one game can last up to three hours. The average temperature in the Arena will be 14 degrees centigrade appx.
There is a restaurant in the curling club room with around 100 seats. In addition, there are various food and drink stands in front of the entrance of the IWC Arena.
Not at the moment. Individual unclaimed tickets may go on sale again during the course of the tournament.
No, that’s why it’s worth getting to the Arena early. Places are allocated on a «first come – first serve» basis.
The arena is accessible from “Breitenaustrasse” for wheelchair users without any obstacles. Inside the Arena, above Sector B, there is a designated wheelchair area with the best view of the sheets and the LED wall.
